Fees & Insurance

 

The fee for counseling is $90.00 per counseling hour which is typically 45-50 minutes in length.

George Gardner may allow a session to continue up to 90 minutes without addition cost.  Sessions with more than one person usually require extended time.

 

Intake Appointment

The initial appointment is $50 for the session.

 

Without Insurance

Clients who are not using insurance are charged on a sliding scale based on their household income.  Financial difficulties may also be taken into account in setting any fee.

 

With Insurance

The specifics of each insurance policy can be complex.  Please check with your insurance company to find out about your “mental health benefits.”

 

Clients should plan to pay for each session and afterward, be reimbursed by their insurance.  (Clients with CIGNA will only need to pay their copay.)  George will furnish the necessary information for you to file insurance.

 

24 Hours Cancellation Notice

Please give notice of canceling an appointment 24 hours ahead of time.  If 24 hour notice is not given, a $25 charge may be asked of you.

 

George’s desire is that you can get the help you need for a cost you can afford.
